The workshop programme for Jam Tent's third year at Kendal Calling is now in full swing, as MusicLinks works with groups from Ulverston Day Services at Ford Park, George Hastwell School and Mill Lane Day Services in Barrow, Monkey Business in Witherslack, and groups from Sandgate School, Kirkbie Kendal School, The Riversiders and Steps Club in Kendal.

Workshops are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and are led by Alan Fitzgerald, Keith Redfern, Andy Halsey, Neil Armstrong and Octopus.

Jam Tent has been funded over the last three years by Arts Council England, Frieda Scott Trust, Cumbria CVS, Lakeland Disability Support, Comic Relief, Cumberland Building Society, Cumbria Community Foundation, Another Space, Kendal Calling and Youth Music. Further support has been provided by project partners including: Kendal Calling, Inspira, Age UK, The Oaklea Trust, Brathay Trust, Eden Community Outdoors, Monkey Business (Witherslack), PAD 9 (Penrith), Big Jam Band and The Old Church (both Appleby).
